“Manifesting The Promise, Building Legacies, and Empowering Agents of Global Change”

The Mission of the Father Abraham Lawson Logan School of the Arts is to provide a safe environment that nurtures and empowers students to become well rounded, productive, successful, competent leaders of their communities, and Global Agents of Positive Change.

The Father Abraham L. Logan School of the Arts, a vision of the Abraham L. Logan Family, founded by Matriarch Mother Elaine D. Logan, Metropolitan ††Joshua P. LoganSenior Pastor Dwane Seals (Messiah Center, Hampton VA), and Rev. Andrea James, Senior Pastor of New Life AMEZ Church (“New Mission”).

First conceived in 2008 as a passion to build and continue the legacy of the Logan Family and Richardson-Post Family of educators impacting the lives of children and adults of all ages.

Patriarch Father Abraham L. Logan’s passion to challenge persons of all ages and ethnicities, was a preeminent driving force in his life.  The Father Abraham School of the Arts is a fulfillment of his vision, and is a venue manifested to encourage students to discover themselves, develop their intrinsic dreams and visions, and challenge them to make learning a lifetime adventure and quest.

Our Objective is to provide a safe provocative environment that will encourage young minds to fulfill their life’s maximum and best use, with a sense of strong value and ethics, as we nurture and empower our students to become productive, successful, competent leaders of their communities having global impact for years to come.

Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
